Carlos Armondo Gimoye O'Higgin's
Biography

     Carlos Armando Guimoye O'higgin's was born on March 25, 1949 in Chinha Alta department of Ica Peru, South America.  As a youngster he wa interested in painting, drawing and as the years elapsed he developed a technique of his own.  His father seeing his ability sent him to the National School of Arts, where he progressed under the guidance of professor Miguel Angel Cuardros; finishing his studies in 1982.  Since 1976, he started participating in many exhibitions and galleries.  He received numerous awards, on his paintings dealing with Peruvian culture.  He has also excelled in paintings of children and churches.  His patrons have been numerous, such as International Embassies, Corporations, Canada and the United States.  He has numerous newspaper and magazine articles written about his paintings.
